This park promotes free, fun and creative activities for all ages.

Vegreville may have a future Olympian in our midst as skate boarding heads to the 2020 Olympics.

The park will consist, not only of a modern concrete skatepark design for all “small wheeled” equipment but will include various other features such as walking paths, trees, benches, picnic tables, sensory walls and free area play space. The park will be enjoyed by our youth, families, seniors and community for years to come.

Sponsorship Packages 

 

Partner

$500+

  • Be a part of the name of the park.  Donor’s names will be engraved on a plaque that is collaged with other plaques and used to form the word(s) in the signage of the park name.  (Each plaque will be approximately 3” x 5” in size, size maybe subject to change and will be larger for any donations over $500), OR

  • Dedication Tree.  Have a tree planted (approved & planted by the Town with you in attendance) and have a plaque mounted on the tree with your name or memorial/event memory engraved on it. Numbers are limited for this item so as to not over-crowd the park.

Bronze

$5,000+

  • A plaque will be mounted on feature of the park in your name, OR

  • Park Bench: A plaque recognizing your donation mounted on a park bench. Numbers for this item are limited to 3 donors.

Silver

$10,000+

  • A plaque recognizing your donation mounted on a prominent feature of the park.   Your logo on all advertising material, OR

  • Picnic Table: A plaque recognizing your donation mounted on a picnic table.  Numbers for this item are limited to 3 donors.

Gold

$15,000+

  • A plaque recognizing your donation mounted on a larger feature of the park.   Your logo on all advertising material

Platinum

$25,000+

  • A plaque recognizing your donation mounted on a main feature of the park in a prominent location.   Your logo on all advertising material, OR

  • Be a sensory wall sponsor.It has been shown that persons with disabilities are especially receptive to sensory walls.Help design a wall – customize it to your family or business.A plaque recognizing your donation will be mounted on the sensory wall.The number for this item are limited to 3 donors – but creativity is encouraged! Your logo on all advertising material.

Diamond

$100,000+

  • Park named sponsor: Be recognized in a grand fashion.  Exclusive recognition as park named sponsor.  An unmatched community legacy.  (Eg. “ABC” Rotary Skate Park). In addition, your logo on all advertising material.

 
 

Additional Details

Plaques recognizing donors will increase in size and be in more prominent locations based on the amount of the donation.

Donations may be monetary, in-kind or a combination.  To qualify as a donation for recognition, in-kind donations must be approved through an “In-Kind Donation Agreement” once we are into the technical design stage.

How to Donate

Donations can be made through the Elk Island Community Foundation (77581 3280 RR0001) and a charitable donation receipt will be provided. Below we explore a variety of ways to help make donations easy for you.
